- I AM REINVENTING MY BUSINESS! ........

For the past 10 years I have owned and operated several popular retail stores specializing in affordable women's accessories; including costume jewelry, scarves and handbags. The stores were called BLISS JEWELRY AND GIFTS. Tired of working every single weekend of my life, I recently closed the last of my retail stores, thinking that I would make a living selling the same items online. Unfortunately my website is not meeting my sales goals....so now I have to reinvent yet again.

My new idea (which I test-marketed to rave reviews) is to fill a box with all of my best-selling merchandise...deliver it to an individual (for a home party) or to a club, or a non-profit organization (school, church, sports team)...let them keep the box for 3 days, during which time they sell as much of the jewelry and scarves as they possibly can...and then they give the leftover items back to me, with payment for whatever is missing.

Each box will have at least $500 worth of merchandise inside. If the entity sells 0 to $99 worth of inventory, they get to keep 10% of sales (in cash). If they sell $100 to $199 worth of inventory, they get to keep 20% of sales. If they sell $200 to $299 worth of inventory, they get to keep 30% of sales. And finally, if they sell $300 or more worth of inventory, they get to keep 40% of sales.

I am also will offering two additional incentives: #1 if the group posts a photo album pictures of their fundraising event (or home/office jewelry party) to my business Facebook page, I will give them an additional 5% of sales and #2 if they return the box in under 24 hours (as opposed to the allotted 3 days), I will give them an additional 5% of sales. So that means if a school group sells $301 worth of stuff in one day and posts a bunch of happy pics on my Facebook page they would get to keep HALF of their total sales!!!

My target audience is mainly women, aged 20-80, interested in making money for themselves or their group. Potential clients would include stay-at-home-moms interested in making extra money. But also children's sports teams, PTAs, churches, college sororities, Humane Societies, etc. etc. (Really anyone looking to "make a quick buck.")

- What do you need written
- SO I NEED YOUR HELP COMING UP WITH A NAME FOR THIS NEW BUSINESS. I thought about keeping the word "Bliss" in the name...since my jewelry stores were very popular in my area-and there is already an established clientele waiting for my next venture. There is also already branding in place, already front-of-mind awareness with the name "Bliss."

I was thinking "Bliss in a Box," "Bliss Boxed," "Box of Bliss," "Boxed Bliss," or a play on the idea of a "jewelry box, " "Bliss Jewelry Box." But it would be nice to include "Fundraising" or "Money Making" or something along those lines in the name too. I thought about "Bliss: Bucks in a Box" but that is soooo friggin' corny it makes me sick.

I am also going to need a tagline/slogan AND a logo design....so this is just the first of many steps before I can design my rack card on Vista Print.

I am not adverse to the idea of leaving BLISS totally out of the picture. If you can think of some other name without Bliss, I am open to suggestions.
