Utah Logos

This western state is home to various indigenous groups such as the ancient Puebloans, Navajo and Ute, but is probably most well-known for being home to the Mormons, the majority of whom are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), which has its world headquarters in Salt Lake City. Over half of the state's population is Mormon.

The state ranked number one in 2014, on Forbes' list of "Best States For Business". Eastern Utah petroleum production is a major industry, while the five major state parks make tourism a leading major industry in Utah.

We have gathered here some stunning logos that have been custom designed for companies and businesses located in the state.

Famous Logos From Utah
Utah is located in the western United States. Named for the indigenous Utes tribe, which means “people of the mountains,” Utah is a place of natural beauty. Most of the state is mountainous, however, there are some dry lands that run throughout.
Along with the natural elements of Utah, there are a number of large cities with booming industries and corporations. Salt Lake City is Utah’s largest city and contains multiple companies in a variety of sectors, including technology, education, MLM, and transportation. Many well-known companies originated in Utah and have logos that are recognizable around the globe.
SkullcandyPopular audio company Skullcandy was founded in Park City, Utah in 2003. Skullcandy’s best-selling products include headphones and earphones. The company’s products were initially created to be marketed to extreme sport and outdoor enthusiasts, such as snowboarders, skateboarders, and BMXers.
Skullcandy’s logo design reflects their initial target market. It has a white backdrop and a black skull. Next to the skull is the company’s name in black, bold letters with a period at the end. The logo is a reflection of the company’s rebelliousness and connects to its motto, “Every revolution needs a soundtrack.”
doTerraUtah is home to a number of multi-level marketing companies. One of the most popular companies is doTerra, an essential oil MLM. doTerra started in Pleasant Grove, Utah in 2008. It was founded by former members of Young Living, a competing essential oils MLM from Utah.

doTerra’s logo is simple yet impactful. It is the company’s name, which stands for “gift of the earth,” written in a basic font. The first letters “do” are lower case, while the third letter “T” is uppercase. There is a macron over the “o” in the name. On occasion, doTerra adds a simple drop over the name to illustrate a drop of oil. Most of the time the logo is a light purple on a white backdrop. The doTerra name and logo are easily recognizable to stay-at-home moms around the world.
Kodiak CakesIn 1995, brothers Jon and Joel Clark from Salt Lake City started a company selling their mother’s wheat pancake recipe as a “just-add-water” mix. It took a little time for the brothers to get Kodiak Cakes off the ground, but today it is one of the most popular brands of packaged pancake mixes.
The Kodiak Cakes logo is extremely recognizable and stands out from other pancake mix logos. There is a red circle ring that reads “100% Whole Grains” at the top in all caps and has yellow wheat at the bottom. In front of the circle is a black banner which reads “Kodiak Cakes” in white lettering. In the middle of the red ring is a large growling bear head.
The logo gives off the feeling of the great outdoors, which is reminiscent of the Park City, Utah mountains where the company began.
