Describe your company and organization and target audience
I am just starting out - bringing a product to market.
Targeted product user: moms of newborn
Possible purchasers of product: mom, dad, friend of expectant mother, grandparents. I do not yet know which of these demographics will become the most common purchaser, but suspect it may be the grandparents.
What is it?
A little background - my oldest is 17 years old. Since the day of her birth, once a year, on her birthday, I have written a letter to her recapping the year.
Depending on the age, the letter includes things like:
- baby stats (length, weight), milestones (started crawling, walking, lost first tooth, said first work),
- interests (i.e. "you love playing with cars and make engine noised while pushing them around the floor", "you started soccer this year", etc),
- family highlights/low lights ("We went to xyz for vacation", "we got a puppy", "grandma died in June"),
- growth I see in the child ("you are such a helper to your younger siblings", "you love to vacuum", "you struggle with math, but keep trying - I'm so proud of you"),
- hopes for their future ("I hope to see you continue to work hard/be kind/etc")
For each of my four kids, these letters were written in a notebook, and will be combined and given to them on their 18th birthday. At that point they will have 18 years worth of personal and family history recorded for them in one place. One day I anticipate a few things happening:
- the four of them compare letters and collectively piece together a very accurate and complete family history.
- when their future children and grandchildren ask, "What was your childhood like, mom/dad or grandma/pa", they will have these letters to share.
I have benefits from writing these letters each year and decided to share this with other moms and dads by making this an elegant gift box that will contain the finest stationary and pen, so that one day the box itself, along with the contents, will be the gift to son/daughter.
The design need:
I am seeking a box cover design.
(Note: The website is VERY MUCH a work in progress. The landing page is far from done. I'm duct taping the wings of the plane as I fly, so to speak. I'm sharing it anyways in the event that the very incomplete, unpolished landing page provides some helpful context.)
