1893 Salsas is a regional gourmet salsa company. We are looking for a logo that will brand the products and grab the attention of shoppers in the store.

The design should have the following

1893 Salsa is a family recipe that originated in Torreon Mexico. We like a mix of old and new design as the recipe itself has evolved over the years to make it healthier while preserving its truly distinctive flavor. With the advent of railroads the city of Torreon quickly became the hub of commerce in the area so we would like some visual reference to a period locomotive. We feel the numbers in the logo should create interest with a rustic look while grabbing a shoppers attention. We would also like to incorporate in the design some use of the jalapeno blossom which is a white five petal star-like shape. 1893 Salsa is an original blend of healthy ingredients that produces layers of flavor with every bite. We use the tag line, 'It's not just for chips"
