Create a name for the world's first living lab for MENTAL HEALTH in YOUTH ONSET TYPE 2 DIABETES
Describe your company and organization and target audience
We are a team of health researchers at the University of Manitoba, Canada. We are conducting a research project focused on understanding the mental health needs and experiences of youth with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D), in order to inform youth-centered health care and research. We are creating a unique “living lab” where young people with T2D can collaborate and share their experiences virtually. The living lab is like an interactive online platform that allows collaboration, co-design, information sharing and gathering in a dynamic way.
We are therefore looking for a catchy name for the living lab. The name should represent our commitment to patient-centered research and care for youth taking into account the connection between mental and physical health. We believe in innovative approaches like living labs to better understand and support the needs of young people and their families.
The target audience for this research project includes healthcare professionals, youth and their families, researchers, policy makers, and stakeholders involved in pediatric care and mental health.
We welcome creative and compelling ideas for the first “living lab” for youth with T2D worldwide!
CRITICALLY - we may expand the lab to other groups of kids with chronic illness, so it would be BEST if the name could relate to T2D BUT ALSO other chronic conditions (e.g., T1 diabetes)
after reading the first entries I believe a metaphor name but be better. Something suggestive of our values and focus is welcome via metaphor or imagery.
What do you need written
We are looking for a name that is creative, concise, memorable, and represents the essence of the research project. The name should align with our research focus on youth with T2D and mental health and that we are using an innovative living lab approach. It should also show that we value research that puts patients first and includes arts-based ways of sharing knowledge. The name should also make people feel confident and curious, and it should connect with the people we want to reach.
