Featured Design Contest: Pittsburgh Renegades Baseball – Baseball Team Logo

There are a variety of interesting and creative contests run here at Hatchwise and it’s always fascinating to see what clients are looking for and what they receive at the end of their contest. This contest run for a baseball team looking for a new logo to be used on their baseball team’s merchandise received fun and interesting design options from Hatchwise’s talented creatives. 

In this blog post, we’ll go over details about the company, the entries that were submitted, and the final result that the client chose. 

About The Company and What Was Requested 

This client was looking for a baseball team logo that was going to be printed on uniforms, hats, and t-shirts. The logo was going to be used for the team’s merchandise and they wanted one that would fit with their style. They requested that the colors red, black, and white be incorporated into the logo and they requested that the logo be creative above all else. They said that they were open to having baseball bats or balls included in the design. 

Entries Submitted 

After the client submitted their contest brief describing what they were looking for, Hatchwise creatives got to work on creating stunning entries for the client to review. A variety of entries were submitted for this contest from talented creatives around the world. After reviewing the contest brief and taking into account what was requested, Hatchwise creatives started submitting creative entries. Below are some of the top entries! 

This entry is a unique and interesting entry submitted by a Hatchwise creative. The design shows a baseball in front of crossed baseball bats and the baseball has on a bandana mask and cowboy hat, with the name of the baseball team in a cartoon font in front. The letters are in white and red, with a few different colors being shown in the rest of the design. The design is perfect for a baseball team with it being cartoonish and classy. 

Similar to the entry above, this entry also shows a baseball wearing a bandana and cowboy hat with the baseball team name around the circle and in the front. This logo is small, simple, and has few colors to keep it from being distracting. The colors included are red, black and white. The logo not only has character but is also unique and fascinating. 

The Final Result 

The entry shown above was the winning entry and submitted by Hatchwise creative, Digiti Minimi. The winning entry cost the client a total of $175 and was seen a total of 10488 times. Seven creatives participated in the contest and there were a total of 15 entries submitted.
