We're looking to fit as many testimonials on one page as possible, and of course in as creative way as possible. Our vision is for the testimonials to “be the website.” No “we do this, we’re the best, buy from us” that we often see on websites. When someone hovers over a quote, they will see they can click it, and it will then take them to the full testimonial, which will be on a separate page of only full testimonials (essentially the same as what you can see at www.newdentaloffice.com on the references page). Obviously we can’t fit them all in, but use at least 12 testimonials (such as the 12 on the Advocacy page). Even more, perhaps 20 or more, the better. i like http://www.ashwebstudio.com/thumb/phpThumb.php?src=/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/osa.jpg&w=750 (although again, the focus is testimonials, and I don't want it to feel cluttered.) also like http://www.ashwebstudio.com/thumb/phpThumb.php?src=/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/eap.png&w=750 Would prefer more classic style, but utilizing web 2.0 elements to make the testimonials (and photos to a lesser extent) stand out.

I don't think the .eps files can be uploaded to hatchwise or flickr. If anyone wants them, do a PM message with your e-mail address and I'll send them to you.

I just uploaded the vector files to the hatchwise site. Can you see them?

I think the background image has a watermark on it. It's probably best if we make you a nice new one in a similar style.

Could you supply the logos as either .eps files or .ai files. These are design source files that can be rapdily edited and scaled without any deterioration in qualtiy (pixelation). If you don't have these, please let me know and i'll make them up. Also, what font are you using with the branding?

Also, i think the background image has been stretched to fit, you can notice there is a little pixelation in their.

Hi Micah, i'd love to do that, but it conflicts with the rules of the site. Ha, it's more of a collaborative vibe and it upsets people. Plus, i'm based in the UK. I can explain here and confuse you some more:) 1: There are certain web design standards and guidelines that i always have to work within. There are many, and they can be found here: http://www.w3.org/ Navigational elements normally don't have a background image behind them. So the navigation normally sits within it's own row, underneath the banner like oj's submission above. Or inside the banner. People will come to your site and expect the navigation to be where they are used to finding it. It's an easy fix. Let me submit something quick, gimme 30 mins.

Dear Designers, I appreciate new logos, but they should be in the context of the web page (not stand-alone), as the prize money will go to the best web page. I'd prefer energy and creativity be put in the web page design first. Thanks.

Rosko, I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about (web coding is not my forte). Please call me at 515-963-0159, because I do want you're feedback and insights. Thanks. Micah

Am back on the case with this one. I had a look at your homepage design, and the bad news is, it won't work:( I think what Vladje was trying to point it is that the navigation needs to be standardised, so that it is consistent throughout the site. Simply sticking the nav on top of some photographs won't work when it goes to the coding phase and therefore it will add to your costs to fix. The person who made this, obviously has never built a site before. You would be better asking for a new homepage design that has the quotes somewhere within that page. That way, when you pitch to client, you will have something that works at least. You can actually request more than one page to be designed here - i think that way it's more likely to be consistent. Hope this helps - Rosko

Hello CH, Would be very helpfull if you could show us the homepage. It's good to make the inner pages a bit similar to the homepage (but not too much) so the viewer doesn't think that they are on a different page. People need to become familiar with the website and style, so they feel better about knowing the website next time they come visit. Thank you Vlad ps: sorry if i missed the link to the homepage anywere

Hi, i think it might be worth considering dropping "LLC" from the logo design. It always spoils the balance of any logo to have to add LLC, and is kind of irrelevant to everyone outside of your company.

No, I don't want to keep the existing header and background. That's the whole point, I need a total revamp of the look and feel. Thanks.

Hi, Do you need to keep the existing header design and background or not? Thanks, Elan

I uploaded the web pages and also our logos for our two companies. We are interested in new logos as well, in how they will coordinate with the website. Colors should indicate trust, integrity, expertise, stability and professionalism...concepts that appeal to doctors. We're open to ideas (but neon pink would not convey the themes we're looking for).
