Describe your company and organization and target audience
St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness (SLOCA) is a non-profit organization committed to increasing ovarian cancer survivorship by promoting awareness of early warning signs and standards of care, funding ovarian cancer research, and supporting survivors. This project is to develop an infographic that explains the potential early warning signs of ovarian cancer. Unlike other forms of cancer, there is no single definitive self-test or symptom for ovarian cancer - making it much more difficult to diagnose. This is why ovarian cancer is often overlooked until it is more advanced, and more difficult to treat. See our website for more details of the organization: www.sloca.org
The design should have the following
We want people to understand that there are four signs that indicate a higher likelihood of ovarian cancer. We would like these signs to be illustrated and captioned in an infographic that will be used on promotional materials. With a greater understanding of these four signs, women's lives will be saved! We have (so far) listed this information as follows: Watch 4 The Signs: - Bloating - Pelvic or abdominal pain - Urinary urgency or frequency - Difficulty eating or feeling full quickly We would like these illustrations to be approachable and fun in style. This needs to tell the story that if you have consistency in one or more of these signs, over several weeks, you should see a gynecologist, express your symptoms, and ask that they examine you for potential ovarian cancer.
