Hi there, this logo is for a startup company following the subscription box model. Basically our customers would receive a monthly box of jerky (dried) meat from around North America (possibly the world).

This service would appeal to anyone who likes jerky meat. This includes health conscience individuals (or at least those trying to lose weight), camper/hiker outdoor types and even gamers who like to snack on meat.

The design should have the following:

I really like English pub names and street signs (like "The fox and hound"& "The blue boar" etc..) and was sort of going in that direction of style when I chose the "thejerkyfox" domain. I'd like to see a fox casually eating some jerky or holding some jerky in its mouth in some kind of rectangle shaped parameter (not 100% sure about the rectangle..). But I do want the logo to center around the fox.

The fox itself could look mischievous but should not appear angry or overly menacing. Looking for a classic logo that isn't overly complex or overly modern.

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

We do not want this in the entries:

No crazy neon colors here. No hard to read fancy or elegant fonts. Should not be an a extremely playful logo. Should not be cartoon.

This is the style of logo the user would like.

Colors to use in the design:

Orange, white and black are my preferred colors. Other colors should/could be dark earth colors, such greens, grayish, blues or browns. I would prefer a logo that worked well with a black background but I am flexible.
