Uber-like app for childcare substitutes

Who we are:

Your next sub should be a nexsub

Describe your company and organization and target audience.

Our target audience is millennials.

nexsub is in stealth mode at the moment. Our business model is to create a Uber like platform for substitute teachers in the childcare/daycare industry.

Child care is a labor intensive, regulated, low wage industry so teachers turn-over is high and it is hard for the childcare operators to recruit new staff, particularly when the economy is good. As a result, most operators would need to access subs. Currently there are some old school temp agencies that provide subs but the cost is high (over head) and quality of the subs is low/unpredictable.

nexsub is the platform where our company will recruit, retain and more importantly, provide the scheduling flexibility to the millennial age subs, which is our target audience. The interaction between the subs and the operators will be all app-based.

The design should have the following:

The logo should convey the following:
1) online nature of the platform (uber)
2) 98% of the target audience is female
3) This is a business app for the childcare. While eventually the staff is taking care of the children, it is NOT for children
4) all lowercase letters preferred, san serif fonts, emphasis on X

Since the logo will be used in the mobile app (one for subs (uber driver) and another for the childcare operators(uber passenger), we need a memorable ICON in the logo that can be used on the app.

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

We do not want this in the entries:

No Primary Colors

Childcare teacher is different from school teacher. Schools in the U.S. operate within the school districts and under different rules. There are many school substitute teachers solutions out there already. We do NOT want to be confused with the school subs solution. This is for childcare.
