LocumOD matches flexible Doctors of Optometry (OD's) with Optometry Practices wanting to fill short term vacancies due to Holiday, sickness or maternity to ensure the ongoing operational effectiveness.

The Optometry industry in Canada does not have an easy way to employ or practice as a locum and we aim to bring an innovative approach to matching skills, experience, product knowledge and customer service strategies to ensure a great fit every time.

“LocumOD delivers an opportunity to change your work life balance, either as a locum Optometrist or by utilising our service to maintain cover while you are away from Practice. “

The design should have the following

I am looking for a clean, modern text based design where the OD portion of the name would be subscript to the locum text, reminiscent of Rx (http://www.freeiconspng.com/free-images/rx-icon-25472) used to denote a Prescription in the industry.
locumOD has a lowercase l and capital OD
The OD portion should also be of a different colour, I have been toying with an orange colour with Black for the locum portion but open to other combinations.
An impression of bringing together Locums and "OD's" Joining the l and M of locum maybe.
Sample font = Avenir Next
If images are used would prefer abstract rather than the obvious glasses or eyes.
My idea attached as a guide

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Canadian Flag, we plan to expand across North America.
No Eyes or Glasses, we plan to operate beyond Optometry in the future.
