Describe your company and organization and target audience

Our company connects Service Professionals and Service Providers and streamlines the process of obtaining and generating quotes for a variety of service projects. You can get a limo for the airport, your bathroom renovated, a new dog sitter and many other services. The target audience is anyone looking to receive quotes for any service and want to complete this process online instead of waiting for people that may or may not show up for a project that is too small or too large. We also target the Service Professionals that do not want to drive all over town only for the project to be too large or too small. It also addresses many issues related to generating and obtaining quotes. We are a small shop and trying to stay lean and effective. The logo design might also turn into other needs like icon and other projects that we can post on Hatchwise

The design should have the following

Keep is simple, creative and effective. Minimal use of colors and probably little gradient. It needs to be instantly recognizable, yet visible on the small Icon apps for smart phones. It will go on print, website, docs and other media and should translate well when converted to watermark or similar effect. Right now I have one that is red, white and blue but I would look for other options. This will be a global brand show it should translate well. Keep in mind the audience includes stay at home moms, plumbers, mechanics, white collar professionals so it should mean something to them all. I ran this contest here many years ago and the business was different back then. Since then the direction of the business has changed and I need the logo to reflect the new direction. Before it was more based on home related projects and now there is a need to encompass more services and not feel limiting to Home use. You might be able to see the previous submissions from the past.

Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
Television/screen
