IT’S TIME TO TAKE BACK YOUR WILDNESS AND START LIVING WITH PASSION AND PURPOSE - THE WAY YOU WERE MADE TO. THE WILD MAN IS OUT THERE UNTIL YOU DO. Passion OUR PASSION IS BEING ACTIVE IN THE WORLD WE LIVE IN. WE HIT THE TRAILS, BOMB DOWN THE SLOPES, CLIMB UNTIL WE CAN’T GO ANY HIGHER, PUSH OURSELVES PAST OUR LIMITS BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT THERE ARE NONE. WE WORK HARD SO YOU CAN PLAY HARDER. more about the project: We're planning on launching three businesses: NutritionWild.com - supplements and organic products GearCavern.com - american made, small brand outdoor gear WildManRevivals.com - weeklong fitness retreats in inspiring locations where the focus is on natural movements, and being fit by experiencing the outdoors Our plan is to use www.SaveTheWildMan.com to go viral and then link to our sister sites to generate sales. The stunt involving SaveTheWildMan.com is that my business partner will enter the Montana Wilderness and won't come back until 100,000 people on facebook like his page. He has been a NPS backcountry ranger, wildland firefighter, and has 100+ hours of footage of himself in the wilderness from years past. He's also extremely fit and has a bodybuilder's physique. We'll post video, blogs, pics to the website daily. In 16th Century Europe, people believed in "Wild Men". People who lived on the outskirts of society in the woods. These men were believed to have super human strength and make for a very cool symbol. We also connect the mythology to today's society of cell phones, internet, and obesity and the need for this wild man to come back to our present day society. So you are not only literally saving the wildman - my business partner, but also you are supporting our movement for a more active and "wild" society today. We think that the synergy between the stunt and the businesses is quite strong, and the "Wild Man" brand has a great potential for expansion.

Hans Holbein the Younger (c. 1498 — between 7 October and 29 November 1543) was a German artist and printmaker who worked in a Northern Renaissance style. He is best known as one of the greatest portraitists of the 16th century.[1] He also produced religious art, satire and Reformation propaganda, and made a significant contribution to the history of book design. He is called "the Younger" to distinguish him from his father, Hans Holbein the Elder, an accomplished painter of the Late Gothic school.

Solid stuff so far! I like the long hair and the simple design for the wildman. Ideally what we are looking far is something universal, that the symbol itself would standout and people would easily be able to distinguish it as the wildman brand if they saw it on the back of a car. For the body type, I'd stay away from the bodybuilder physique and go for the lean, strong, primal man look. Thanks guys I look forward to seeing more!

A Note from Hatchwise Admin regarding previous designs by Shockwave and vongoctuan: "The designers are not allowed to use any preexisting artwork in their entries. They can draw something inspired by the public domain image, but they can't use it unless you own the full rights to it." So guys come up with a new original drawing inspired by the wikipedia pics and lets get a winner.
