Describe your company and organization and target audience

I practice shiatsu - a therapeutic form of bodywork rooted in Chinese and Japanese healing traditions. It looks a lot like massage, but is generally done on a mat on the floor and works by the same principles as acupuncture (meridians and acupoints). It secondarily treats muscle, fascia, etc. Each shiatsu session is tailored to that client's specific chronic and current needs, based on what they tell me and my (non-medical) diagnoses. It involves pressure to the meridians and points, as well as stretches and range of motion movements. I also usually recommended specific stretches, exercises, dietary changes, and/or herbs. Shiatsu often helps clients become more aware of their bodies, and connections among mind, body, and spirit. Shiatsu can address almost any physical or psychological condition. I look especially for clients who want to be engaged with their healthcare and seek a holistic approach, and who are willing to make changes necessary to improving health.

Shiatsu is not a medical procedure, but is also not recreational or just for relaxation (though it is relaxing, usually). I would like to integrate a free-flowing water/river theme somehow into the design, possibly with some greenery. I live in an area that is not very cosmopolitan or familiar with "alternative" medicine.

This logo will be used for
