Software manufacturer for B2B sales, some consumer but not much. Our software products would be used in the IT space of a company.

The design should have the following

With the name Universal our founders want to have an astronaut for our logo. We would like for the astronaut to be a single color so it can be easily altered to display on different backgrounds. So we are not looking for an actual picture of an astronaut more of a vector graphic where transparencies are used so the background color provides the contrast to create the design. We would like to probably have it above the name Universal Software, maybe over the 'ware' in software or over the 'vers' in Universal. In some use models we may have it leading the company names but our goal would be just over top one of the words. All types of graphics are welcomed. If you can get across the concept of astronaut abstractly great. If it looks like a cartoon character we can work with that. If it looks real great too. Please keep in mind we are a software company so whatever we use will have to look something like itself as a 16x16 icon in the task tray of computers. So too much detail may not work unless we can have a design where we can reduce the detail for the smaller display sizes. We would like the astronaut forward facing but we are open to any ideas you have.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

This needs to be a one color vector. We really don't want an actual picture of an astronaut.
