Who we are:

The Power of Knowing

Describe your company and organization and target audience.

Our company creates real time tracking solutions that solve problems with location.

Our flagship product is and application that allows parents and students to know the real time location of the school bus. The application is integrated with a Fleet Management back end that helps School Transportation directors manage the School Bus fleet.

The same base technology will eventually be used to develop solutions as:
For ferry passengers: helping passengers know the location of their ferry (running late or on time)
For food delivery: real time location of the delivery driver
For parcel delivery: real time tracking of the parcel delivery truck so you don't miss your delivery
For contractors: real time tracking of your plumbers, electricians and other trades allowing management to more easily coordinate resources.

See our features page for more details about our flagship solution: https://www.unitegps.com/features

The design should have the following:

Your design needs to recognize that we will eventually have many similar tracking solutions across industries.

The logo may convey the idea of motion.

Words to spark ideas: maps, map icons, go, movement, coordinated, synchronized, unite, inclusive
I have attached some files that may spark ideas, especially the sketch. I think if done well with chrome and integrating our major themes of motion, uniting people and technology this base idea could become a winner.

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

We do not want this in the entries:

Do not design something for our school bus product only because this logo is for the company and needs to appeal beyond just our school bus solution.
Do not use our current color scheme since we are going for a fresh look.
Do not use stop lights or other traffic symbols.
Do no use cursive like our current logo.
