"The Fellas Cup" 2019 -- Logo for annual golf trip/tournament with buddies

Who we are:

2019

Describe your company and organization and target audience.

The Fellas Cup is an annual golf trip and tournament with long-time friends. I am hoping to have a logo created that I could put on hats, shirts, and ball-markers. It is a casual, yet competitive event with a fair amount of drinking involved. All of the boys cherish this event that brings all of us together to play a game we love, particularly now that we all graduated from college this spring. I would hope to use this logo for the event for years to come.

The design should have the following:

I WOULD LOVE SOMETHING THAT IS SIMPLE AND CLASSIC. COMBINE GOLF AND BEER IF POSSIBLE. I am hoping for a logo that combines the sleek, swift, nature of country club logos but that doesn't take itself too seriously. Given that we all graduated from Boston College, potentially some aspects of the iconic maroon/gold or an eagle could be cool BUT IS NOT MANDATORY. I would love to see a logos that have nothing to do with Boston College. I kind of have a feeling that some sort of tongue-in-cheek or goofy cartoon logo of a guy playing golf (possibly drinking) would be fun. I am also thinking that "The Fellas Cup" wording would be in some type of cursive.and be very nice and refined. I am truly open to many ideas, but I would love for the designer to think of that feeling of raw excitement you get when you are with lifetime friends for the first time in a long time.

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
Television/screen

We do not want this in the entries:
