Describe your company and organization and target audience.

We are a company that conceives and produces television show concepts. We need a main title design for a spec-show that we are producing titled "Singing Star Wars". We would like to be very clear that this is not based on or has anything to do with the franchise Star Wars. This is not a movie or has anything to do with scifi. Imagine the title being Singing Star Battles. Celebrities will compete head to head in singing wars. We are not looking for a Star Wars rip off logo. Anything submitted that is derivative of the franchise Star Wars will be immediately discarded. We may accept parody but nothing derivative. The basic premise is a reality stage show with celebrities going head to head in singing wars. We are looking for something that pops, has texture, depth and tells the story of the show. The story of this show is celebrities competing head to head in comedic singing games.

The design should have the following:

TV Show Logos are about the Title. "Singing Star Wars" needs to be paramount and the main focus of the design. Any sort of logo or key art should be incorporated into the words. We aren't looking for a logo separated from the words "Singing Star Wars". We aren't looking for just words, we do want artwork, it just needs to be something that works witihin the title, not a logo and a title. We need something that we can animate onto video footage or over a backplate. We would like the submitted designs to be able to be delivered as A LAYERED FILE. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE CONTROL OF THE DIFFERENT LAYERS OF THE FINAL LOGO CHOSEN. We want to have the control to key the logo in over footage or manipulate the different layers to fly onto screen.

For inspiration, here is a good article about the typography of tv show logos: (http://cabletv.com/blog/the-typography-of-tv-show-logos/)

A great company called Fish Eggs is one of the best in the industry at designing these types of logos. You should visit their website for inspiration of what works well for television. (http://fisheggs.tv).

Also, here is a good youtube reel to look at that has a bunch of really good designs for TV. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMTxpZCn7KA)

Thankyou for your time and effort in helping create something memorable for our project.

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

We do not want this in the entries:

Any sort of logo or key art should be incorporated into the words. We aren't looking for a logo separated from the words "Last Days Of.." We are NOT looking for letter head or something that would be good for a business card.
