Describe your company and organization and target audience

SIMMER.io is a place for game developers to upload their games in a format to be played directly in the browser. "YouTube for browser games". The preview site is available at preview.simmerindustries.com.

The primary audience is game developers and the secondary audience is people playing games.

Main competitors are: itch.io, gamejolt.com, clay.io, kongregate.com, newgrounds.com.

I am looking for something playful, adventurous or colorful.

The design should have the following

The word SIMMER is a play on the word STEAM. Steam is a website for purchasing and playing video games for download http://store.steampowered.com/. Perhaps their logo will be of some inspiration.

I also like the youtube logo.

Other concepts are a fry / simmer pan: https://preview.simmerindustries.com/about or a factory https://filefoundation.com/files/simmerconcept.png (note the name is SIMMER.io, not Simmer Industries, as seen in the factory logo).

Finally, I've been using this font. It is not a requirement to use this, but an idea: https://fonts.google.com/?query=acme. Even better than this would be a hand drawn logo in the spirit of the "acme" font.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Any font used would ideally be free & open source. There is a huge selection available from https://fonts.google.com/.

Colors to use in the design

I'm pretty open to this. Ideally the logo would be colored but could also have a "flat" mode where I can put a single color on a flat background.
