The MIT Robo-AI Exchange is an exciting conference started to create discussions around
successful strategies for the adoption of Robotics and AI (RAI) in commercial organizations. Our team of
passionate business leaders and engineers recognized that most of the conversation on AI and robotics to date has focused on either cutting edge technical innovations or distant future predictions about the changing nature of work. Although these are important conversations to have, companies need actionable learning to best leverage and implement these technologies. That learning is what we hope to enable for conference attendees, including business executives, corporate strategists, product and project managers, manufacturing and automation engineers (application, electrical, mechanical and software, engineering), business students and innovative technology and solution developers from start-ups, established companies, academia and manufacturing.
In the 2018 Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends survey and report of business and HR leaders, 72% indicated that AI, robots and automation are important – but only 31% felt their organizations were prepared to address strategy to implement these technologies. Our mission is to provide a platform that allows for the exchanges of ideas, technology and experience around implementing robotics and AI. This event will bring people together from across a number of industries to share specific cases, strategies and outcomes related to their adoption of robotics and AI technologies.
