Global Voice Artist

Describe your company and organization and target audience

The website is Place Narration, but I would like the logo to just be my name, with the tagline below. I am a Voice Artist that does professional voice overs for commercials, videos, eLearning, infographics, multimedia presentations, phone prompts, audiobooks and other professional voice projects that require a female voice.

The design should have the following

THE LOGO: I\'d like it to include elements that are not just words, but play together with the words well. Perhaps a symbolic girl w a microphone, just a microphone, audiowaves or something else cool that communicates or even just symbolizes what I do in a simplified way. I\'d like it to communicate a cool/hip/vintage feel, but also the fact that I am a global professional and worthy of high budget projects (so not silly). I\'d like it to be simple in a way, (I like Evernote\'s logo a lot because of it\'s symbolic style), and to communicate simplicity. By looking at the logo, one should have a very good guess that I am a female voice artist (with a great eye for branding). ;] I would like the words, my name and the tagline, to be somehow made a part of the logo, so it\'s cohesive and not completely separate. Perhaps part of a microphone cord or audio waves play into the words (just an idea, but yours will probably be leagues better than mine)! COLORS: Because the color line wouldn\'t let me right more than a few characters. Here is my full answer for colors: I might like red accents, turquoise accents, vintage-y colors, dark blue accents, but am VERY open to going the vintage-y browns/colors route OR sticking with something that would match the current site. Either would be A-ok. I do like it when primary colors and non-primaries work together with little accents here and there, but not something that looks like a rainbow. In short, I am NOT hard set on colors. I\'d like to see different options, and want to be open-minded to see your (much better) design sense(s) than me! Hopefully the many logos I added in the Dropbox link above will be great inspiration. THANK YOU for participating in this contest! LOGOS I LIKE: I attached a zip file and labeled most of the files with notes in their titles/file names! :] Please find the link here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ezxgjs4eks1d574/Logos%20I%20like.zip This is my site: http://placenarration.com (I know nothing like the logos I\'ve attached. I will change my colors to match whatever the logo ends up being. I just liked the tin cans image, so matched my colors to that for now). I love the vintage-y look of the imagery on this site. Just sharing. http://www.spoteditorial.com/ The logos (and the notes I added in their file titles), that I\'ve attached on the DropBox link above, show MUCH more what I\'m going for and hope to achieve though! Please take a look at them all, if you don\'t mind. FILE DELIVERY: I\'d like the logo to be able to be animated later down the line, so my partner (who\'s an animator) can do something fun with it. I guess this just means I need a layered file. :]

This logo will be used for

  • Online (Website, facebook etc.)
  • Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
  • Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
  • Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
  • Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

I don\'t want the words to be completely separate from the other visual elements used, but would like them to be cohesive.

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

Please see notes above.
