PiQ is a new line we created to contain all our high definition security devices that are as easy to use and have a positive feeling of peace of mind in the branding. Our company target many audiences and this particular brand what thought that having simplicity and peace of mind aren’t exclusive to one group or economic bracket. With that said here is what we cam up with to gain an understanding of what we are thinking: Target market: (age 25-40) Non-techie people – we want this device to be easy for anyone to use and afford (democratic) Uses: 1. Home owner /apartment dweller a. Parents to monitor :Babies & Kids/teenagers c. Pet owners d. Adults responsible for their elderly parents 2. Small & medium business owner a. Independent shops b. Convenience store c. Restaurants d. Liquor stores

The design should have the following:

What: PiQ is a line of high definition security devices that are as easy to use as they are to set up. (example IP camera that is viewed through a smartphone/tablet) Why: We believe that staying connected to what we cherish most is a fundamental part of who we are. Keywords developed that describe our product lone and should reflect in our logos are: • Clean • Short • Easy • For everyone • Simplicity (in setup and use) • Peace of mind • Smart – self-improving/evolves • Trust • Quick • Versatile: suits any environment • Modern • “Knowing”: gives everyone the ability to know more without requiring them to give more time. • Comfortable • Reassuring • Calming • Focus • Relaxing • Balanced • Smooth • Empowering • Enjoyable • Caregiver • Satisfying (curiosity) • Awareness Positive

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
Television/screen

We do not want this in the entries:

logos that look: - complicated - techy - focused on fear - look too fun or toyish. This is a real product we do not want people to thinks it just a toy
