Describe your company and organization and target audience

I am a small one person hair studio, that does a 50/50 mix of men’s and women’s hair. I am a more independent and alternative hair salon, with a clientele averaging between teens to 40 something, looking for very modern and current hairstyles. I would say most of my clientele could be labeled hipster. My salon space is very gender neutral.

The design should have the following

I’m looking for something fairly minimalist, neat and tidy. NO CURSIVE PRINT, clean print only. I would like to see clean straight lines. I prefer something black and white, but would be willing to encorperate greys and browns. I’m ok with clean geometric shapes, with straight lines. I like interesting framing such as diamond, squares, triangles, circles, and if you can combine them so make an interesting shape, even better. I have uploaded some files of designs I like, they don’t need to be copied exactly, but used to ideas.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

No cursive! Nothing feminine. Nothing with curves and swirls. No colour other than black, white, grey, brown. No images of hair or faces. Nothing that looks to soft
