Describe your company and organization and target audience.Mining Made a community made up of those who work in the global mining industry. This includes operation miners, mining professionals (geologists, engineers, attorneys, management, etc.), it is not exclusive to any one segment of the industry. Mining Made is a for profit organization founded to unite the mining industry, blue and white collar workers alike. Mining Made writes articles, conducts interviews, and hosts podcasts with members of the industry to highlight the interviewee not only to their peers but to also educate the general public about what mining is and to reduce misinformation.
The target market is both men and women directly employed within the mining industry but also those who support it indirectly via service industry, products, or simply advocates.
The design should have the following:I do not envision the logo having any equipment of machines in it. It has to be powerful yet simple. I hope to brand apparel and merchandise with this logo so it has to be aseptically appealing as a stand alone image.
The mining industry is male dominated and therefore men are my initial target group but there is a strong contingent of women in the industry. I say this likely in regard to the color scheme and level of masculinity vs. feminine character.
This is likely a text logo or a text logo with a subtle icon. Again like any logo this logo can be very simple but needs to be very marketable.
This logo will be used for:Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
