Describe your company and organization and target audience

We have a family farm that is grassroots, basic, back to the land, no chemicals, nature led, and very chill. We pasture raise heritage breed animals and because we raise them without "doing" anything to them their meat is some of the best quality you can find. We are talking top notch. Our customers are high-end chefs feeding their own families to people who want to just eat clean and make it a priority in their lives. Our target audience are people who put an extremely high value on the food they eat and are willing to pay the additional cost of slow food production.

The design should have the following

We raise some damn fine pork. It is a British breed called Large Black and is quality, high end, amazing pork. All animals are raised on pasture being grass fed and outdoors all year round. We are thinking about a logo that captures both the simplicity of our meats and the high end quality of them. This logo will be used on a label that will go on our pork, chicken, quail, rabbit, etc. It is a brand within our farm specifically calling out the simple goodness of the meat and exuding quality. Words we think of to describe our meat are: quality, clean, delicious, simple, good, posh, premier, elite, gourmet, basic, fresh, natural, old world, high end, amazing, perfect. The list goes on but hopefully you get it. Think of meat that would be served in the finest New York restaurant at ridiculous prices ~ that is the quality of our meat being produced one animal at a time as part of our family with care in the middle of a small Iowa farm. A luxurious experience due to the quaint simplicity. Think White Party simplicity at Martha's Vineyard. Posh without the snottiness. We LOVE English-English as well as American English. Most breeds we have are originally from England.

This logo will be used for

  • Online (Website, facebook etc.)
  • Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
  • Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
  • Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
  • Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Please don't just put like Premier Meat or Quality Meat in a logo. We don't even like the word meat that much. We are trying to express a feeling that the customers want to have.

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

Black, white, or grey (green possible)
