Describe your company and organization and target audience

I am a California State Licensed Contractor (C-12) in Grading and Paving public roads and agricultural (farm) avenues. We also deliver all aggregate material such as all rock, sand, gravel, asphalt, etc. for industrial, commercial and public works entities. I have been in business for myself doing this line of work for 17 years.
Target audience is construction companies, industrial and commercial companies.

LANES is a play on words. My last name is Lane and the majority of the work I do is on or for roads.

The design should have the following

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Using ALL of the colors is not necessary except for red. Use red for sure. I'd prefer a heavy font, but nothing too "Trucker". A lot of freight companies are going green, we are "not". I don't want any equipment clip art looking stuff either.

Colors to use in the design

My equipment is cherry red and trailers are a dark grey, but not charcoal. I like black, cherry red, silver, gold, white, and a smoke grey.
