Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a 51 year old company (Centek Industries – www.centekindustries.com) with roots in the marine exhaust industry. Our goal is to create and launch a sister company ( Fiberglass Tubing Supply )that will offer some of the same products that we sell to boat builders – fiberglass tubing. This company will have a web presence which will serve as our main vehicle for letting the public know of our offerings. The fiberglass tubing ranges in sizes from 1” in diameter up to 18” with larger sizes available on a custom basis and can be used for hundreds of applications from frame tubing for kites to major construction projects. Our tubing is wound on a mandrel using continuous strand glass and high quality resin thus creating a product that is strong, light weight and resistant to heat, cold, weather and harsh chemicals environments. Our price point is less than the other suppliers currently on the market but our quality is better. The goal is to be a volume provider of tubing in standard sizes with the capability to work with a customer on special requests. We will offer five standard colors but will provide custom colors for a small up charge. We are posting this project because we need a creative logo for our new company.

Our target audience will range from engineers to hobbiest and as of now, the only means to promote our company and products is the web. We want a simple, clean, crisp logo that we can use on our website and possibly business cards. The way we make our fiberglass tubes - helical winding - is of some importance. See www.fortresspilings.com for a good overview. This is a sister company and we are open to a similar look but also completely open to new, fresh designs.

This logo will be used for

• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
