I am creating magazine for my local community called Encinitas Naturally. It will be a guide to natural living with articles about things like organic food, yoga, natural healthcare, and green/eco-friendly businesses.

The design should have the following

For the logo, I would like to have the words broken up with “Encinitas” above the word “Naturally.” Encinitas Naturally If you use my tagline in the logo, please make it small and under the magazine name. I am open to any ideas you have to design my logo but colors I like are blues and greens. As for the design, if some little detail can be worked in that reflects something natural, that would be perfect (butterfly, leaf, tree, hummingbird, flower, etc.). Encinitas is a beachtown and so if the logo has a little ocean/nature combo feel that would be interesting. Not sure how you would do that but if you can think of something, go ahead and give it a try. Please don’t make it look like clip art was just placed next to the name. I would like something more original and creative. Also, the logo has to be more horizontal than vertical.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Graphics that are too clip art looking. Childish looking fonts.
