We are a boutique gay mens clothing optional hotel in Palm Springs, CA. Palm Springs is known as a desert oasis with lush landscaping, tall palm trees, and amazing views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The city hosts millions of travelers each year from all over the world. Our resort (now under new ownership) is known as a place of rest and relaxation at the pool and surrounded by tropical landscaping. We want to modernize the logo from the current design. The current design can be seen at www.desertparadise.com. Our target audience is gay men between 20-70.

The design should have the following

**Thank you so much for all of the entries! Still trying to decide and still accepting new designs. Perhaps something with a nice, more modern font saying "Desert Paradise Resort Palm Springs" (Resort can be left out if it makes the design look better) and a palm tree that looks like it is acting as an umbrella shading the wording?

We are very open on design, but want something a little more modern and tasteful. It of course needs to say Desert Paradise Resort Palm Springs (new requirement), but designs can include "Palm Springs" Palm Trees or mountains (or a combination) in the design would be welcome, but many designs have made it look like an island so far so it is a delicate balance.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

No rainbows, no structures/buildings

Colors to use in the design

We favor Burnt Orange, Blues, Salmon but these do not need to be central to the design.
