My daughter and I have talked.
She likes the basic look of this graphic. So, lets see what we can do with it.
1. Remove the deer, butterfly, and bird.
2. Remove the red tonque on the serpent.
3. Try to slant the tablet forward a bit so the name can be seen better.
4. Yellow rule tablet paper does not work. Just make it white.
Let's try these.

Hi. I adjusted the colors to tone them down and have a more consistent color scheme. Is this along the lines you were thinking?

I think I get what's going on here. You consolidated the colors in the creatures and the design.
Still think there is too many colors.
Pink eraser tip, red serpent tongue, purple butterfly body....
