There is nothing wrong with submitting these type of proofs. Others have posted them here already and I will probably ask for them with the winners.
So it's cool and I understand.

OK - my experience elsewhere led me to always submit a black and white version along with color versions. Most logo design texts I've ever read stress this as a point of concern - that at some point any client is going to need to print your logo in black and white on SOMETHING, so one had best provide for that in designing it from the get go. :)

I'm not a big fan of back and white, but in this case it relives the eyes a bit from all the colors of the other one.
I'm just not sure this would work on business cards and marketing. I'm looking for a "feel" that conveys nature, writing, beauty and fun. This is mostly fun and silly with a little of the others.
