I'm not held hostage to the whole having a sphere or circle as the logo icon. if it looks good, go with it but if you want to try something out of the box, please do. Also, please use slender fonts.

Another note...I definitely don't want to see any of the predictable medical icons being used as an icon. Ex: red cross, ekg waves, etc. I would like the icon to be a fresh new design. Keep it simple and small. Don't let icon overshadow the name. Thanks

All...the example at http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/3600/omnimedk.jpg is a concept that I had made previously. I need it revamped in high res. Additionally if you want to submit a secondary concept with your own design while getting close to this kind of feel, that would be great.

Dear all, and espeically to AFD. I'm actually the former VP of Marketing for a global medical device company so I know a little something about brand and identity creation. I like this site because it allows designers...good or bad, a chance to practice their trade and show their creativity. It also affords me the opportunity to sample other ideas....good or bad, and possibly help with adjusting my direction with different projects. I realize that a lot of the designs from contest sites are duplicated or "inspired" from previously commissioned graphic work and can spot those very easily. Nevertheless, I have been impressed with a lot of the submissions I have seen so far and look forward to seeing more. Thanks to everyone.

Funkey73, the image in the link the CH provided. Unless the CH owns it, and just wants a different variation of it, it belongs to someone, therefore copyrighted to someone else.
