If your design is still active, moving forward please show the same design on white and black backgrounds in the same submission. Thanks!

Very impressed with how well you all are taking the feedback. Thank you for all the iterations. One thing I haven't seen are some word marks. We have a lot of very similar designs right now. Is anyone able to incorporate the spectrum, gradient, and sound wave motif into the name itself? That is, no icon: just the stylized word. You might superimpose a brain overtop or maybe a bullhorn—for speaking out. I've realized the color spectrum already implies (Neuro)diversity, so the brain+spectrum is a bit redundant (but I still like the combination as I've seen so far).

ANNOUNCEMENTS First off, this has been an extremely effective contest. You all have helped me take a brandname with a raw idea behind it into (what will be) a polished brand and defined business. What Neurodentity means to me, and how it will take shape in the world, is an magazine/blog that does advocacy and inclusion consulting work through the lens of neurodiversity (https://www.disabled-world.com/disability/awareness/neurodiversity/) and the social model of disability (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_model_of_disability). My hope is that this brand will start off as a blog and magazine, build digital presence and influence (on social media), and lead to consulting work for me with employers and communities through workshop facilitation and speaking opportunities. Thank you all so much for helping me figure this out. My path forward with this work is so much clearer after having worked with you all on your designs. - Jeff

Lining your brain stems up with the top of the d like #2524670 seems to tie the mark and name together.

Really appreciated everyone's hard work here. I think I will have to select 2 or 3 winners.

Great work on the revisions everyone! I'm seeing a lot of redundant submissions on the same concept. It's okay to take inspiration from other designers, but I'd like to see more variety in the concepts. Does anyone else have a different interpretation of identity or neurodiversity? I haven't seen a lot of brainwave/pulse designs yet... But go wild; try to flare as much as possible before we hone in. Some really good fonts, colors, and gradients lately. Just not enough variety quite yet. Keep going everyone! And don't be discouraged by my critiques. I do give credit where credit is due ;-)

Now that I've seen how technically skilled you all are and how polished some of the designs are coming through, I'm really curious what other shapes and motifs you can come up with besides my suggestion of a brain and a fingerprint!

Thanks everyone for submitting designs! Some questions to inspire more diversity in the designs: 1) What else signifies unique human identity besides a brain/fingerprint/neurology? 2) Which colors best signify diversity? 3) How can we capture uniqueness without over complicated a design? Overall stylistic feedback: 1) Blue green gradients are too cold 2) Yellow orange gradients are too energized/loud 3) Font (and marks) shouldn't be futuristic, blocky, and probably no uppercase 4) Rainbows (if used) should be spectrums not prisms so that they don't look like stripes but rather a gradient Suggestions: 1) I'd like to explore the waveform more as an advocacy / speech concept 2) Still getting a ton of fingerprint concepts without a lot of iteration. Please review the feedback on other fingerprint concepts. Please review the feedback I've left on eliminated designs so you can learn from how I've asked others to refine and iterate their concepts.

A few guidelines: 1) I want the mark to look modern, but not futuristic. 2) Try not using uppercase: Neurodentity 3) Please warm the colors up 4) Curious what other concepts you might come up to signify identity besides a fingerprint 5) Maybe try emphasizing the 'speaking up' / advocacy aspect of the brand?

A lot of great submission so far ya'll; thanks for working with me! Here's some guidance that might help a lot of you: 1) Try to make these more warm/human rather than modern/robotic. The mission of the consultancy is to promote the idea that our individual neurologies make us unique and suited to, or the result of, our unique contexts—experiences, environments, and networks. Robots and modern designs imply a uniformity that is opposite of what we're going after. 2) So far the 2-color designs hav been my favorites, but it's worth review the neurodiversity spectrum ribbon which is a rainbow concept. There may be something there you can pull from or at least understand: that the colors represent the full range of human (neuro)diversity. 3) Please don't submit more than 2 versions of the same concept at a time so as not to date our time. I will guide you when you're getting close :-) -Jeff
