We need a logo designed for our home inspection company, which is called Lake Vista Inspections.

The design should have the following

A quick google search of home inspection companies will reveal a multitude of outdated logos. We want to stand out with something modern & fresh, without using clichés like a magnifying class or spotlight. Incorporating a house into the design is another obvious choice, but I'm not opposed to that. Also, with regard to the name--water themes (whether in design or color choices) would be welcome. I think it would be handy to have two related logos that we could use interchangeably on products. One with the full name, Lake Vista Inspections, and one with just LVI.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

- Magnifying glass, spotlight - boring colors (a lot of these types of business use very standard, primary colors. We don't want to get too crazy, but again, we'd like to stand out in a way that other similar companies do not).

What style of logo would you like?

Probably some blue. Open to any other color.
