I will be using 4 STARS as my favorites. I want to be very conscious and protective of your time, so if you received a 4, just let that sit for awhile. As we near the end of the contest, I will then reevaluate those 4 STAR logos to narrow it down to a few 5 STARS. My previous experience, I gave someone a 5 star early on and then everyone just kept trying to copy that exact submission but with different fonts or colors when the original artist should have received the credit. Thank you for submitting!!!

I’m having trouble updating the brief, but we prefer sans serif fonts over serif.

I apologize. I am late rating and responding to submissions. I have contracted COVID and have been in bed asleep the last few days. I will resume rating as soon as I have the strength.

Thank you for your patience! Feeling much better and have begun rating and commenting again. Some things learned from your submissions: 1. the truck feels more like a farm than a motel that uses farming. It is giving more bed-n-breakfast vibes than sophisticated motel. Unless you have an idea on how to fix that, you might want to eliminate the truck. 2. We are a 1-story boutique motel. Logos that feel like large houses or buildings have felt too corporate. We understand wanting to emphasize "home" but we do not want to feel like a "house." 3. We gave some suggestions for color schemes, but for some reason everyone has settled on this awful computer blue and black that all companies use. I know colors can easily be changed so I have been focusing on the design and font, but I would like to see something more unique in use of color. 4. We had suggested the possible use of a California Poppy or California Daisy in the logo, but those feel feminine and we are looking for something masculine.
