We are a web site providing articles, tools, and You Tube Videos targeted at software developers. We want to create a community around software development. Our content will be how to's for software development, how to manage a team, how it's built, interviews with developers, etc. We want to target up in coming developers (ages 22 - 35).

The design should have the following

Looking for this logo to set our brand. Want it to be forward thinking. Not overly corporate. Something to attract passionate software developers. Something that the upcoming generation of developers will respect and resonate with. (can't be old looking)

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Should have the name "Every Day Developer" and a graphic. The logo will go on web site, mobile app, business cards and apparel.

Colors to use in the design

I'm open to anything. I would appreciate if you could provide thoughts on a color pallet used in logo but one that could show colors that will work with the logo for the web site.
