Thanks to Morango and Violet for your submissions. So far, I'm partial to the "crowd" of Morango's. So literal (crowd on table) I would have never come up with it alone. Good colors, but are Violet's more fun?

NemesisQaine is too close to Morango but the hat's a nice thought. Bubble outline of letters is interesting, but too hip(py) for my trust request. Eclipsart got the clean thing down, good color choice, great on trust. chairs around the table is nice but they end up creating a gear/sun/flower look that's a bit too ubiquitous in logo land. I like the font, but it is also oft-used. This logo could be crowdedtable insurance, ct airlines, ct manufacturing, etc. This is the tricky part of the logo design: communicating the concept "Community/chefs/health/convenience/family/event"in one glance. (I get that nothing will communicate that perfectly) I want to say how much I appreciate the work everyone is doing. I'm trying to over communicate to help, but I also don't want to seem like I'm asking for iteration after iteration -- You all have your own priorities.

I reread my design brief -- there is a line that said "no food in the logo". I overstepped my bounds there. Food is okay. When I wrote that, I had the cornucopia in my head or a table FULL of food (busy). Sorry for the miscue.

I want to thank everyone that has submitted a design thus far. I must say that I'm so pleased to have access to your wonderful work. Tim Brown the CEO of IDEO talks about the mood of design projects, starting with excitement and hope at the beginning, then into a valley he calls insight. We are now in that valley but the good news is that next is confidence. Since I prepaid, I will definitely be picking one of your designs. For all of you, here are my thoughts thus far, meant to be general and not to single any of you out good or bad. This design is important to me and I want to help everyone to bring their best work. I am definitely learning from all of you. 1. It's more important to communicate access to the "crowd" of chefs than it is the "table". 131326 and 132176 do the best job of that so far. 2. eShopDesigns has done the best job so far aiming at the culinary aspect. I don't think I need more designers, I know the answer is within your collective reach. If you have the time to take another run, I thank you for that. Please do NOT withdraw any designs. The evolution of your iterations is very helpful to me. I am sensitive to the law of diminishing returns, I know your time is more valuable than this prize represents. Still, I would rather pry your best work out than settle for 80%. Thanks again.

Gozzi, Seems you have something to say. Let's begin with the knowledge that there are really no truly original designs. Our collective consciences are imprinted with myriad designs, most sub conscience. If you are trying to say "the winning design is exactly like something else, clearly stolen" then cite an example and stand up to enforce the good reputations of your industry, your peers and this process at large. If your claim cannot stand up to this open forum and peer scrutiny it's best to stay silent.
