We are a children's book publisher that exists to publish children's stories with universal appeal that place African characters at the centre of our stories. Please check out the attached files for examples of the KIND of books we hope to publish

The design should have the following

A subtle African essence to it. The imprint is for children's book so the logo should be childlike

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

Briefly describe your contest

Children's Book Publisher Needs a Logo We need a logo for a new children's book publisher. We are an African company and will publish books that place African characters at the centre of our stories. Most of our stories will be sent in the contemporary world and NOT in ancient Africa. In other words our stories will be mostly modern NOT African folktales. We would like a logo that's fresh, childlike and playful but also has something subtly African about it. No African masks please! It must not be overtly tribal. The imprint is called COCOA BEAN BOOKS The imprint name is Cocoa Bean Books but the designer may or may not choose to put the name in the logo
