Hi guys, I forgot to mention in the brief that we use 100% organic farming methods. I'm not sure if that is important to anyone but I thought I'd put it out there just in case. Feel free to ask any questions that come up. Lets see some creative designs!

Don't be afraid to try some different stuff. I think really simple could work well too, something along the lines of this: http://www.logogala.com/gallery/details/feed-forest/ Some combination of a plant and a building... the plant growing out of the building or in front of it... or out of "Urban Harvest". Or play around with roots. A plant rooted in the city? Lots of possibilities. I'm really open with this logo. The most important thing is that it clearly and simply communicates: food and city.

Alright designers, Things are starting to look good so I've gone ahead and pre-paid. Someone will definitely win the competition. Best of luck to everyone!

Actually, my wife gave me the idea of the skyscraper as the corn. While the idea is similar (and I applaud their creativity as well), the physical designs themselves are not the same.

The idea is not similar, it is exactly the same, it's an identical concept, just redrawn. If a design idea is already done and one does it a little differently, is it still copyright infringement? You can redo the nike swish by changing the curve a bit but, come on.

Although I do agree that the concept is the same, which is technically in poor taste. The actual copyright laws state that the EXACT design is copyrighted, and not the "concept". So LEGALLY rsmith23 is in the right however, from a fellow designers point of view, I don't think it's very ethical.

This is getting silly. My wife gave me an idea and I went with the concept. At NO time did I ever reference that website. By the way, its not uncommon for more than one person to have the same idea.

Thank you bornaraider for pointing that out. The design is very close to identical and I find it hard to believe that isn't a copy. That kind of stuff can get me in legal trouble, and makes the design worthless. I suggest you withdraw your entry rsmith.

You better believe it's getting withdrawn. In no way does it receive a score of 1.
