I did add texture to the one building that was in texture in the original logo. However, it is strict rules of Hatchwise that we do not "heavily borrow" from other entries. So, for any of us other designers, to add texture, you'll have to put it in your brief. Same goes for the overall darkening of the blue tones in the overall design of the logo.

Thanks for your entry! We did, however, decide to get rid of the stones and go back to having the large and small strip of river, as in Entry 619482 by mikz051 (except that there should be no green). Also, we like your dark blue used for the river, but would like to darken the overall blue color of the logo, as in Entry 620427 by rossome101. Lastly, our favorite buildings are the textured look of the building cluster, as in Entry #620265 by mikz051. Could you add texture to your buildings? Thanks!
