TSG Contest Holder

There are some very nice concepts submitted already, and while some have a lot of "eye candy". The logo should be just as effective in black and white and in flat colors (no gradients, effects, etc.). Please provide a flat version for reference (if you haven't already) if your design has scored a 4 or above. Thanks in advance! Also thanks to xpressions for the advice.

Surely the emblem in this [Entry #80477] is a rip off of Henleys clothing brand and the company would be sued bigtime by Henleys as they are a round the world clothing brand? as quite a few entrys have used this i am only using this as an example

I don't think this entry is a rip off of "Henleys" clothing brand as this sign (fleur-de-lis) is very popular design symbol and is created a very long time ago before "Henleys" created their logo design, please check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleur-de-lis. I also don't think "Henleys" has the rights over this symbol as well and this is their trade mark by the same reason. Of course, there are many other companies using the same symbol and that's not a problem as this is a very popular symbol. Also it has a lot of variations and everyone is unique for itself. So, that could not be a problem for you to use it as your company image, of course if the design is original and not absolutely the same like someones else design. I've also used a version of fleur-de-lis symbol in some of my entries, because you mentioned it as an idea at the Logo Design Brief. dsdesign and saraaf you both have the same stolen emblem, just thought id share this. Because of this we can now send you to design court. If 10 people vote you stole it, you get a mark, 3 marks and your out buddy. Frauds beware.

Well to be a little more clear for me because obviously you can't tell me true emotions from text. I do not think anyone here ripped off the design from Henley's nor will I be wanting a design court on anyone here. Just merely pointing out that because of this controversy someone can now do design court against and people can vote. I do however think DsDesign needs to withdraw his entry where is icon is exactly like yours. That kind of crap will cause me to do design court. Do not rip off contestants entries. So sick of people reading my comments or something off of my entries then applying it to their design. Seriously GET YOUR OWN STUFF.

Lol, you really make me laugh :) Please show the design I've steal from, if it's the same, then I'll agree but if not, you owe me an apology as you blame me without even prove that first. I think the reason is clear for that - Entry #80129: by: logoguru score: 2 - you just envy me man :) Also the saraaf's design and my design may looks similar, but definitely not the same, I mean same like ours designs and the design you think we have steal from. The two designs are original, at least I can prove that for myself as I did it manual draw in vector graphic format and I even made a research first, to be sure my design will not be the same like someone else company image, since it's a really popular sign. Look I really have no time for that, as I'm so busy working on other projects at the same time. I just was invited to join at this contest from the contest holder, and I did what I can. I definitely don't think that I'm wrong with something, especially steal any design as you blame, so please if you got something prove it, otherwise stop talking stupid things like that because you really make me laugh...

I will in my defense say my first logo was crappy and called a tester logo to see if this contest is worth my time. I am glad your busy and only came around for this contest or whatever, but if you did your so called "research" you would have realized maybe I shouldn't make something so close to someone else's entry. Maybe if it's not clear already this website has had a huge problem with fraudsters lately thats why design court was implemented. I was simply stating now you can be taken to court for what has happened. It's nothing big just gets you a mark. One people start getting some marks maybe they will follow through more with their so called "research".

Nice judge with funny charges :)) Actually who are you to judge at all?! First "stolen emblem" now "stolen icon" Please check out my portfolio here at hatchwise and you'll see I've used absolutely the same gold icon with different sign inside for one of my previous contest, and that was so many time ago... ...and here is not the place to show who is the smarter or better, and this is the contest right but not of this kind. If you want to show who is better you can do it with your designs. I really have no time for you man, I'm sorry. And yes you owe me an apology when you blame me in something but you can't prove it. If you thing my response is "arrogant", please check what you say first and how you make me to feel. You're the man who blame someone in something, and of course I need to protect myself especially when I'm right. Wish you all good!!!

DsDesign, a two star entry isnt always bad, sometimes it just means a designer's style is not right for the competition. I guaruntee you've had plenty of two star ratings, so i wouldnt be so hasty to criticize.

Actually I do owe you an apology for one thing. I did not realize I wrote same stolen emblem. It was supposed to be same emblem. So for that I apologize because I do not think you stole the emblem from anywhere I just think your idea is too close to an already submitted submission.

DsDesign, trust me your experience is probably far greater than mine at design that is fact. I have merely been messing with this as a side gig and I started off really bad but feel I am getting better. Regardless of experience to ever claim someone has envy of you is extremely silly. Your designs are nothing special, sorry. Neither are mine, neither are anyone's. A good designer is more than just the design they produce.
