ANDEREOZZI: Read the comments by the contest holder. They said they really like the idea of the 2 women. Not all logos have to represent what you do. NBC is a classic example. What does a rainbow colored Peacock have to do with television? That is today not when it came out. This logo has to represent 2 classy yet sassy women debating and debunking organizing myths. Many people unfamiliar with organization may not recognize an "organizing" object in the logo and those that do may find it boring. You put 2 classy stylish chics with a flare of sass in a logo and its catchy. Something worth at least checking out. The purpose of this logo is 2 fold. They want something that conveys a message of style and class that is kept a bit playful while at the same time being eye catching enough to draw people in. As with most logos the method in which you accomplish the message is not as important as actually doing so. Dont forget that your job as a designer is to convey a message to your target audience through a visual communication. Whether its direct in this case with "organizing" objects or indirect with "two women" the goal is still the communication of the message. Now say thank you for the free lesson. Krista: Sorry for the long message on your contest but i felt it necessary to share some knowledge with others. Hope you dont mind.

Brandie and SO pleased with all your designs and very much appreciate all your entries. We both think the eLogo site is incredible and love that we had the opportunity to be involved... I respect that as designers you share your thoughts/comments with one another. I especially appreciate 13cranes last informative comment. As a former marketing teacher I share the same sentiments~ So... everyone always wants to know why they weren't chosen or what they could have done differently. Here are my candid thoughts. 1. uglyducky (the winner) just spoke to us. brandie and i both gravitated towardt his design immediately. 2. really liked several others a lot: smurfygirl, kreativitee (1st entry), doomcricket, and gennaro's last entry. specifically: smurfy- loved the graphic... it really looks like us! krativitee- the graphic was cool;) doomcricket- fabulous retro feel, great layout. gennaro- i didn't care for your first entries, however loved the idea of the woman reflecting- very cool. 3. because the show's name is a bit edgy and could be interpreted as sexual, we needed to keep the design clean and non-sexual. i figured some may think it was a lesbian thing or a sexual peak... and since we only wanted to peak curiousity we chose to not walk the thin line. So as cute and fabulous and spunky as some of the designs were they easily could have taken 'a mind' down a different path. So in a nutshell... the designs were great but didn't work with our radio show's name + it's format. THANK YOU all again and Brandie and I will be posting on our blogs and talkin' up this site like nobodies biz! Cheers to you all!
