Team Islands

Describe your company and organization and target audience

This is a newly formed company based in Honolulu, Hawaii. "Team Islands" means not only Hawaiian islands, but other island/continent where we pull together ideas, resources, and talents.
Our first venture is quick service restaurant (Sub n' Roll, logo contest for this is also running now), from there, we're planning to expand our horizon into other industries such as travel, entertainment, and real estate.

The design should have the following

Please take a look at our idea draft uploaded. The logo will have circular outline which represents the globe, top half of the outline is palm tree, and the trunk of the tree is rooted in the island of Oahu which is in the center of the logo and much bigger than actual proportion. To the right is the west end of North and South America, to the left is Japan and Singapore. Japan can include Mt Fuji or Red gate (please search "Japanese shrine gate"). Singapore is so tiny it can be a dot with high rise bldg sticking out.

Other land/countries on the globe can be shown just by thin outline, not color so you can see them but not stressed. Hawaii, west coast of North and South America, Japan, Singapore are the only ones with colors and objects.

8 main islands of Hawaii must be present (please search for the actual shape of each), and Big Island should show volcanic lava flow and black Mt. Kilauea. Other islands can be green and brown. Oahu is the root of the palm tree, and surf around it would be nice.

The bottom half of the outer circle can be made of letters "Team Islands"
This logo should be fun, neat, and colorful. Please refer to our draft, but we welcome all your imagination, good sense, and fun idea.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Not contemporary, not too modern, not too abstract/simple.

Colors to use in the design

Main colors in mind are Green, Brown, Blue (color of the globe, tree, ocean, etc.)

Company logo with the friendly island feel. We're on the same boat called the earth!
