Describe your company and organization and target audience
I like the idea of a single stick of burning dynamite somewhere in the logo, but that's my only idea. I am willing to entertain any good idea. Ultimately at the designer's discretion.
The design should have the following
There are two optional pieces of text that might be used in the logo, and I'm not sure if including one or both would look good. The TNT stands for "technology in training" and our motto is "where technology ignites learning." Either (or both) of these might be good in the logo. At the minimum, the logo should be an icon with the text "TNT Lab" somewhere. Beyond that is at the designer's discretion.
This design should not have this in the entries
Both corporate (CEOs, VP of Training and Development, etc) and research-oriented (university professors, private research organizations) audience
Colors to use in the design
TNT Lab's logo should look reasonably normal with this other logo (although with a white background) nearby on a webpage: http://occs.odu.edu/webdev/styleguide/images/logos/oduncrown.gif This is not a suggestion to use those colors, however - it should just not look jarring if the TNT Lab logo were at the top left of a webpage and the crown on the top right. There is no set color scheme - the webpage will be designed around the logo.
