This is a new product for an emerging technology company in the field of outdoor displays. The product can display an image in direct sunlight and uses the reflection of the sun's rays to achieve a full HD image. As such, it uses very low power and is designed for outdoor applications. This is a relatively new version of this technology and our company is pioneering its use in various large formats (32" and above). Examples of our target audience would be municipalities that manage transportation centers (bus and train), outdoor shopping centers, indoor displays that face outward towards the public or are viewed through a window, and various restaurant/entertainment applications.

The design should have the following

The basic idea of the technology is to reflect the sun's light and use it to create a full resolution image, eliminating the need to turn up the light on the display to power through bright light conditions. Any concept of the sun, sunlight, reflection, or a combination of these should be illustrated and understood by the audience.

Many of our competitors use sans serif, block-type fonts. Since we have SUN in our name, we would be open to a script style or logo with more curves. The initials SVD can also be incorporated somehow.

Although we need a logo with attractive coloring/styling, it needs to have the option of standing up in a black and white version as well, for potential branding similar to the bezel on TVs and computer monitors.

This logo will be used for

• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Colors to use in the design

We are open to any color combination. Our parent company uses the sequence Red-Green-Blue in their name and the full spectrum of colors in the logo.
