Describe your company and organization and target audience

Hawaii based brand new company opening a quick service sandwich and rice roll shop in Honolulu. Store location will likely be in a business building's casual food court/alley. Target is business people of all ages for breakfast to lunch hours.

We value "aloha" spirit, and are friendly and fun loving team, which needs to be reflected on our new logo.

The design should have the following

We do have a rough image that we can show you once contest starts, but in words, it is:
- a submarine sandwich (profile) with 2 rice roll (small circle/face of a cut roll ) underneath so it looks somewhat like a bus from the side (body is submarine bun and tires are cut face of rice rolls). Sandwich and roll have multi color fillings.
- We prefer colorful eye-catching art, not too realistic, not too abstract, a little bit comical (but no face).
- Art will be fit in a circle and within the circle, "Sub n' Roll" shows above the art, and at the bottom, in smaller font, says "where bun meets rice" They all fit in a circle.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Logo should not have:
- any face (like anime)
- dark/black background
- too edgy, sharp impression
- no "cold" feeling

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

Eye catching from a distance, prefer warm colors.
Bun is in brown shade with green, red, yellow fillings (colors of actual filling) and cut roll has dark (purple) circle around it with white rice, and filling can be any colors)

Outer circle may be green, and the back ground is a faint shade of warm color.
But we expect to see the designer's interesting ideas and inspirations. We are open and flexible.
