We are not wed to the concept of the light bulb. The first entry we liked because it contained the light bulb with the "Mortar Board" which has a great connotation for our service. Just a light bulb by itself does not carry the same meaning.

We find ourselves gravitating to the very clean designs. It seems that the design needs to effectively utilize white space.

We really want our logo to convey that students can get information from many students and that teachers will be able to present their information to many students, not just their own. So far there has really only been one logo that begins to convey that. Keep up the good work. We appreciate all the entries.

It would be great if designs are submitted on both a white and black background as it may get used both ways. There have been a couple of entries that have done both, thanks for doing that.

Thank you for all the very thought provoking entries. It has become clear to us that we are looking for a sophisticated, but not complicated, elegant design. The text needs to be clear with emphasis on the Study and/or Help, but not "the" or site. Th big concept that is missing in many designs, but is a major premise is that students have access to many teachers and teachers have access to many students. This is a very important concept as it is one of the big differences with our site than other study/lesson sites. Similar to HatchWise that needs to address both the Contest Holder and the Designer, our site needs to address both the student and the teacher. One idea we had is the concept that something is incomplete and is being completed by many sources. Thanks for the great ideas and hard work, keep them coming.

A tagline we thought might fit with what we are shooting for: "Connecting the World's Best Students with the World's Best Teachers"

Well we are half way through the contest and have had some wonderful entries. We are still waiting for the one design the stands above the rest. Here are some things we have learned through this process: *We appreciate clean, simple, elegant designs. *We want to convey our new tagline "Connecting the World's Best Students to the World's Best Teachers" *The emphasis in the text should be on Help or Study Help *The logo needs to work well on it's own and with text *The logo needs to include the concepts of Student, Teacher and World. The more the better as long as it is done in a simple clean way. Keep the entries coming. Many designers have really worked hard to convey this message. Thanks for the entries everyone.

can you help me out ! one designer(Entry #179022: by: Makaveli Designs) has reported my winning entry can you take a part in design court to give some voice " I had this entry with the people holding the globe with a mortor board on the globe. The CH asked me to switch the globe to an apple and take away the people. However maadezine comes along and steals my idea right at the last minute. I pm'ed him plenty but since he's a known fraud he obviously didnt respond. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM DEALING WITH THIS "
