we are getting some great designs. I will go through tonight or tomorrow AM and comment on them. One thing I wanted to mention is that while we would like to be thinking about sustainable building, it is not necessary to reference that overtly in the logo. Having said that, I do like several of the logos that have environmental references, but we are interested in alternatives as well. Basically, if the environmental emphasis can be done subtly, then we welcome it. If it is too overt, then it will not work for us.

hey all, a couple of comments. first, thanks for all the excellent entries on this contest. great work. One thing I would ask is that if I score something 3 or above, would you please consider leaving it - not removing it because I would like to show these to the rest of my company to get their opinions before they are gone for good. thanks!

Please do not put any obvious references like "leaves" or trees in the logo. I have explained in many comments that we do not want obvious emphasis on green building. Use the color green in the logo perhaps - that is great. Also, we are a small company primarily building fine custom homes in a mountain town. no city scapes. Lastly, after thinking about it, we like a few of the logos with houses, but only the ones that are very abstract or stylized or unique. We also really like many of the logos that do not have any obvious reference to houses or building, so it is not a requirement. I am going to go through and rescore based on this to make room at the top for the more ideal entries. thanks for all the excellent stuff - you guys are making it hard to pick just a few because there is a lot of good stuff to choose from.
