Describe your company and organization and target audience

Indie publisher. I am starting a small publishing company, to publish works written by my wife.
We work collaboratively on Children's books, and she writes young adult fiction novels.

The design should have the following

I want a logo that can be printed clearly in black and white. Stargazer is a lilly . . . but I have a Star and a telescope (old fashioned spy glass) in mind for the logo.

We may publish other non-fiction, and fiction books in the future. (Meaning the logo shouldn't be too child oriented.) Less whimsy, more professional.

Think old man in a lighthouse library looking out at the stars. Stacks of dusty old books. Less Star Trek . . . more astronomy enthusiast. ;-)

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

designer's choice . . . My wife doesn't like RED . . . FYI. :-)

I prefer muted colors - BOLD B&W designs.
