Our product is a package of six wool dryer balls, 7cm in diameter. We want you to create a design of a cute animal that will be applied to each wool ball by needle felting in the workshop/factory. The ball is made of New Zealand wool so a tie-in to a New Zealand endangered animal would be cute but not required. Our target audience will mainly be women who are interested in the environment.

The design should have the following

Cute, possibly big-eyed, animal. Full body or only the face, if you prefer. If your design is selected, we will be coming back to you to design the bag for the balls. A full-bodied animal would be needed then along with text. The design must be very simple but cute and appealing.

This logo will be used for

• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

We will not have the company name or brand name on this design. Only the cute animal.

Colors to use in the design

The color will depend on the animal you select. The design should contrast with the ball. Normally, the ball will be a white ball. But, as you will see in my attached picture, the ball can be a solid color if necessary to the design. The design should be simple for ease of application and use as few colors as absolutely necessary.
